What we collect

The files you upload (spreadsheets, typed class notes, and PDF invoices, receipts or bank statements, which may contain vendor, account and transaction details) and the results we generate from them.
Basic job information (job ID, file name, status, timestamps) and your email if you provide one.
Payment status from Stripe. Stripe handles your card details; we never see or store them.
For subscribers: a subscription record (plan, status, trial and renewal state, jobs used, and the Stripe customer and subscription IDs) and a cookie in your browser that links you to it.
For Class Notes: the notes you upload or paste and the organized notes we generate from them.
Standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

We use your data only to clean your file, take payment, provide support, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data. We do not use your files or data to train AI or machine-learning models.

No PHI or medical data

Do not send us bank logins, card numbers or passwords; we only need the file you upload. Do not upload protected health information or other medical or patient data. CleanDrop is not designed for it and may reject or delete such files.

Retention

Uploaded and cleaned files are automatically deleted after 7 days. Subscription records are kept while your subscription is active and afterwards as needed for billing and legal purposes. Minimal job and payment records may be kept longer as needed for accounting, refunds, and legal compliance.

Service providers

We share data only with providers needed to run the service, such as Stripe (payments and subscription billing) and our hosting provider.

Your choices

To ask for earlier deletion of your files or records, email us with your job ID.
