What you get

  • One row per invoice: vendor, invoice number, date, due date, line-items summary, subtotal, tax, total, currency
  • Totals cross-checked (subtotal + tax = total), mismatches flagged
  • Duplicate invoices (same vendor and number) removed
  • A Flags sheet listing every field we could not find or were unsure of

Limitations

  • Text-based PDFs only. No OCR, so scans and photos are not supported
  • Vendor is taken from the top of the document and layouts vary, so check it
  • Line items are a one-cell summary, not a full table
  • Works best on English-language invoices with labels like "Invoice Number", "Date", "Total"

Questions

Can you read scanned or photographed invoices?

No. Only text-based PDFs (the kind you can select text in, e.g. downloaded from QuickBooks, Stripe or a vendor portal). Scanned images are reported as unreadable and not charged: you only pay if the preview looks right.

Which currencies?

The currency is taken from a code like USD or EUR on the invoice. If only a symbol is present we infer it and flag it.

What happens to my files?

Uploaded and result files are automatically deleted after 7 days. We don't use your data to train AI or machine-learning models.

What if the result is wrong?
